Kevin Stoddart has two primary responsibilities as a Managing Partner of KBRS including leading executive search projects as well as providing direct oversight for Meridia, the firm’s full-service recruitment company. Under his guidance, Meridia has grown to a team of 24 professionals focused on quickly connecting organizations with top talent in professional, managerial and technical roles both on a permanent and contract basis throughout Canada and the United States.

On the executive search side of things Kevin has personally completed hundreds of search projects with leading organizations. In the process, he has established a deep network within the business community of Atlantic Canada and beyond and acquired the knowledge and experience required to help clients evaluate their talent needs and identify hard to find candidates for difficult to fill roles.

Kevin has access to some of the best and brightest candidates in Atlantic Canada – those looking to return and those who’ve heard what a great place it is to work and live. He believes the key difference is access to talent. It’s not simply knowing of them, rather it’s about having the skill and credibility to meaningfully engage with the best and brightest individuals. He knows that top talent has choice and they are less likely to comb through job ads and apply directly to an opportunity, rather they trust professionals like those at Meridia to help manage their careers.

In addition to his roles with Meridia and executive search, Kevin is involved in firm-wide management and leads business development and marketing initiatives for KBRS under four practice areas: executive search, contingent recruitment, career transition and human resource consulting.

Kevin resides in the Halifax area and enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and two daughters.
