Heather is a Recruitment Consultant with Meridia, focused on roles within Canada’s mining and energy sectors. She leverages more than 20 years of experience in relationship-driven, client focused environments to deliver solutions that are well aligned with organizational needs. Heather brings a professional, organized, and detail-oriented approach, taking the time to understand both client and candidate needs to create strong matches.
Before moving into recruitment, Heather established a strong career in account management and business development with leading international organizations, driven by her ability to build trust quickly, manage many competing priorities, and deliver exceptional results in a fact paced environment. She now applies those same competencies to support organizations by partnering with hiring managers, taking time to understand business needs, and identifying talent that aligns with performance expectations, culture and long-term business goals.
She is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and has completed several professional development courses in areas such as negotiation, strategic account management, emotional intelligence, and data driven decision making. Committed to her community, Heather has volunteered with Ronald McDonald House, and Special Olympics.
