As a Recruitment Specialist with Meridia Recruitment Solutions based in their St. John’s office, Andrew is dedicated to supporting the growth of organizations across Atlantic Canada by connecting them with high-potential talent.

Originally from Pound Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, Andrew is passionate about contributing to the success of businesses in the region he proudly calls home. He brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to recruitment, ensuring that both clients and candidates find the right fit.

Andrew brings hands-on experience in full-cycle recruitment through multiple roles at Vale Base Metals, where he managed hiring for both corporate functions and co-op student programs. His strengths lie in candidate sourcing, screening, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement.

Having recently completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) degree with a concentration in Human Resources at Memorial University, Andrew combines academic knowledge with practical experience to deliver thoughtful, effective recruitment solutions.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys giving back to his community and has volunteered as an assistant coach, supporting youth development through sports. He is also a food enthusiast and avid home cook who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and exploring local cuisine. In his free time, Andrew enjoys travelling and gaining new perspectives through cultural and culinary experiences.
