Role Description
In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead thoughtful and creative projects, working with a firm known for innovative, client-centered design. You’ll provide important leadership and direction to the Interior Design team, ensuring successful collaboration with in-house architects and external consultants as you manage projects from concept to construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the interior design process through every stage of completion, including space planning, material selection, and overseeing installations;
• Collaborating closely with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure a cohesive design vision;
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high design standards and project timelines;
• Mentoring and guiding junior designers to foster professional growth and maintain a collaborative team atmosphere;
• Staying up to date with trends in design, materials, and technology to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Your Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field, from a CIDA accredited school;
• 10+ years of professional experience in interior design, with proven leadership in high-end projects;
• Registered Architect and/or Interior Designer a definite plus;
• Proficiency in 2D/3D design software, with specific experience in Adope Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Vectorworks, AutoCAD and/or Sketchup a plus;
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial interior design;
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
