We are pleased to partner with them looking to bring a Manager of Finance to their team in New Brunswick.

This challenging position offers the opportunity to play a key role as part of a highly skilled team. In this role, you will not only support the accounting and finance function, but also the operations team. The successful candidate can be based in Fredericton or Edmundston, New Brunswick.


Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Prepare regular internal financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial results for senior management.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analyses to support operations.
  • Oversee the sales and cost of sales transactional system and processes.
  • Supervise a team of three.
  • Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate and assist with special projects.
  • Other miscellaneous accounting and finance duties, as required.


The ideal candidate will possess:

 

  • CPA designation.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player mindset.
  • Experience in cost accounting is considered an asset.
  • Experience managing people is considered an asset.
  • Experience with accounting software (Microsoft GP would be a significant asset).
