We are proud to have partnered with one of the USA’s largest developers of affordable and workforce housing solutions, and we are assisting their search for an Interior Designer in Camden, New Jersey.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create vibrant and functional living spaces for housing developments across the United States. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and project managers to develop interior design concepts that align with project goals and objectives.
• Create detailed interior design plans, including layout, furniture selection, material specifications, and lighting design.
• Prepare mood boards, renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Source furniture, fixtures, and finishes within budget constraints while maintaining design quality and aesthetic integrity.
• Oversee the implementation of interior design plans during construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in interior design and multifamily housing development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree specializing in Interior Design, from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects through each phase of design, including schematic design, space planning, design development, construction documentation and construction administration.
• Strong project management experience, including but not limited to budget management and cost control.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing a team of designers.
• Experience using ArchiCAD is preferred, but not necessarily required.
• NCIDQ certification, LEED or WELL accreditation are definite assets.
