Financial Systems Developer

Meridia has partnered with one of Canada's leading litigation practice in Toronto, and they are looking for a Financial Systems Developer to join their team. The Financial Systems Developer is primarily responsible for the upgrade and enhancement of our client's financial systems. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining reports within these systems and ensuring that all systems integrate with each other in a reliable and fault tolerant manner. Our client’s firm currently utilizes 3E, Intapp Open (intake and Conflicts), Intapp Walls, Intapp Integrations Services and Carpe Diem.

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

• Reporting into Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud and Application Services.
• Develop and maintain integrations between the financial systems and other systems via Intapp Integrations Services (Boomi) and build safeguards to ensure that integrations function reliably.
• Assist the Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud and Application Services in creating and maintaining roadmaps related to financial systems.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate system upgrades and enhancements.
• Resolve second and third level support issues raised by end users.
• Work with the Manager, Finance to develop custom reports, forms, and templates via 3E’s IDE and Solution Manager tools.
• Work with vendors to coordinate and assist in implementation of new financial systems and changes.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Financial Systems

 

Your Requirements:


• Strong knowledge of database concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Finance concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Thompson Reuters 3E (including Templates and IDE), Intapp Products (Intapp Open, Intapp Walls and Intapp Integration Services) and Carpe Diem, or similar.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI. Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Proficiency with scripting and programing languages such as VBScript, .NET Framework and C#.
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.
• Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to effectively interact with firm members at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, and able to manage a high-volume of tasks.
• Driven to learn, grow, and achieve results. Exceptional client service skills. Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas.
• A team player with a keen ability to adapt and respond appropriately in various situations.
• Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and operates with discretion.
