Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with one of Southeastern Ontario's premier construction and development innovators, Patry Group of Companies to recruit an ambitious and dynamic lawyer to serve as their In-House Legal Counsel in Kingston,  Ottawa or the Greater Toronto Area.

Your Responsibilities:

• A seasoned lawyer with at least six years of professional legal experience, including five years specializing in corporate litigation, ideally within construction or property development.
• Deep commercial and corporate legal expertise combined with astute business judgment aligned with Patry’s strategic objectives.
• A persuasive communicator with exceptional skills in negotiation, arbitration, and litigation, equally capable of translating complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to executives, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• An agile professional comfortable commanding attention and respect in both the courtroom and the boardroom, skilled in administrative proceedings and tribunals.
• An incisive, detail-oriented legal mind adept at navigating intricate case law, transactional agreements, contracts, and policy frameworks.
• Unwavering diligence, a competitive spirit, and proven relationship-building capabilities to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external counsel.

Your Requirements:

• Robust knowledge of current legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and compliance matters.
• Proven proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating diverse legal documents, including contracts, agreements, intellectual property matters, and corporate policies.
• Exceptional analytical skills, sound judgment, and the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
• An unwavering commitment to internal risk management, regulatory compliance, and proactive legal strategy.
• Demonstrated experience cultivating and maintaining strong professional relationships to advance corporate goals and legal interests.
