They are the fastest growing national traffic control company, and we are excited to be partnering with them as we look to bring a Senior Financial Analyst to their team in Dartmouth. Reporting to the Manager FP&A, we are looking for an experienced finance and analytical professional to join their growing team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly financial reports.
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
- Support the Department Leaders with data-driven analysis.
- Ad hoc FP&A related tasks within the normal scope of a financial analyst.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, or equivalent field. CPA designation, or working toward, will be considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related area.
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
- Experience working with ERP, Dashboard, and planning software.
