Right Traffic is a leading company in the Traffic Control industry, experiencing rapid growth across North America. They are the fastest growing national traffic control company, and we are excited to be partnering with them as we look to bring a Senior Financial Analyst to their team in Dartmouth. Reporting to the Manager FP&A, we are looking for an experienced finance and analytical professional to join their growing team. 


Responsibilities will include:
 
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly financial reports.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Support the Department Leaders with data-driven analysis.
  • Ad hoc FP&A related tasks within the normal scope of a financial analyst.

The ideal candidate will possess:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, or equivalent field. CPA designation, or working toward, will be considered an asset.  
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related area.
  • General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
  • Experience working with ERP, Dashboard, and planning software.
