Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration, the Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of techNL. This role involves coordinating various administrative and operational tasks, supporting financial processes, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration, the Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of techNL. This role involves coordinating various administrative and operational tasks, supporting financial processes, managing vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
What You Will Do:
- Finance and Accounting: Assist with purchasing processes, manage vendor relationships, monitor and follow up on membership dues and sponsorships, prepare invoices, and support grant application processes.
- Membership Administration: Manage the association's CRM system, process new membership applications, support the onboarding process, and ensure member data is accurate and up to date.
- Operational Support: Provide administrative support for events, assist with new hire onboarding, manage the CEO's calendar, arrange for contract signatures, take meeting minutes, make travel arrangements, and oversee IT services.
- Office Management: Monitor shared inboxes and calendars, handle room bookings, manage supplies inventory, answer phone calls, and support visitors to the office.
- Additional Duties: Participate in special initiatives and perform other duties as required.
Who You Are:
- Education: A degree or diploma in business administration, operations management, or a related field is considered a strong asset; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of specific education requirements.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in office administration, operations coordination, or a similar role, preferably within the tech or nonprofit sector.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain meticulous records to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM systems (e.g., GrowthZone) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks Online); ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, members, partners, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements in operational processes.
- Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing unforeseen challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency in outputs.
- Self-Starter: Proactive and dynamic, with the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

- This role is a full-time contract position until March 31, 2030
- This position involves working primarily in-person at the office
- The role includes a mandatory group health benefits plan.
- 3 weeks paid annual vacation included.
