On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Director of Marketing & Customer Success to join their team of dedicated professionals on-site in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Marketing & Customer Success will be responsible to oversee inbound marketing, brand positioning, as well as customer acquisition and account growth strategies. Key responsibilities will include pricing, value-added account support, and developing go-to-market strategies for new products to drive revenue growth and increase profitability. The Director of Marketing & Customer Success also collaborates closely with Sales and Operations leaders to ensure Emmerson Packaging’s service proposition is promoted effectively and consistently delivered upon.

Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes effective marketing and positioning strategies to build awareness of and preference for the Emmerson Packaging brand.
- Ensures targeted RevOps, ABM and broader promotional campaigns are executed effectively and in close collaboration with Sales, R&D and Customer Service.
- Ensures Customer Service and Sales support activities promote Customer Improvement and account growth.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of Emmerson Packaging’s website, SEO/SEM and social media channels.
- Business Process Owner for pricing-related functions, initiatives, and projects:
- Defines new business processes, policies, and procedures, evaluates resource requirements, and stimulates implementation or maintenance of pricing system.
- Manages processes, policies, and procedures to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
- Ownership of ERP related customer service and pricing data and processes.
- Leads and directs pricing strategy formulation and takes necessary actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
- Builds and maintains the revenue and margin forecasts upon which business models are built and monitored for Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Conducts and analyzes market research and performs financial evaluations to assess pricing strategy effectiveness for various customers, markets, or product types.
