On behalf of our client, we are searching for a Vendor Management and Procurement Leader to join their team in New Brunswick.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vendor Management and Procurement Leader to oversee and enhance our clients IT vendor ecosystem. This role is responsible for selecting and managing IT vendors, negotiating contracts, mitigating risk, and ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving value through effective vendor partnerships and leading a high-performing vendor management team.

Responsibilities include:

•    Develop and implement strategic plans for IT vendor management, including relationship development, contract negotiation, and performance improvement.
•    Identify and evaluate potential IT vendors and suppliers based on organizational needs and strategic fit.
•    Lead negotiations to establish favorable contract terms and service level agreements (SLAs).
•    Monitor vendor compliance with contractual terms, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Manage the vendor selection process and conduct thorough assessments and due diligence.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with business and IT stakeholders to align vendor strategy with organizational goals.
•    Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key IT vendors.
•    Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
•    Define, track, and analyze vendor performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
•    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of vendor management professionals.

Qualifications include:

•    Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or IT sourcing, with strong negotiation and contract management skills.
•    Strategic thinker with a track record of aligning vendor capabilities with enterprise needs.
•    Strong communication skills, including experience engaging with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
•    Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous process improvement.
•    Knowledge of IT systems, service delivery, and vendor risk management.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
