In this engaging role, you will craft innovative strategies to attract candidates for a variety of search assignments. Collaborating closely with the Partner on search assignments from inception to completion, you'll participate in a wide range of activities, from drafting proposals and creating job descriptions and advertisements to evaluating candidates and conducting reference checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a network of candidates for a variety of search assignments.
- Provide support to the Partner in conducting candidate research using different databases and online research.
- Prepare candidate materials for clients with a high level of accuracy.
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth operations of our St. John’s office.
- Assist in the preparation of business development materials, including conducting market research.
- Promote company posts and initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients and candidates.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of recruitment database through quality assurance of incoming data and management of candidate data in the system.
- Create job ads and post them within available platforms, appropriately recording paid ads and communicating to accounting to support invoicing.
- Provide administrative, reporting, and research support in the database, such as producing records of experience reports for proposals.
- Draft job descriptions and client profiles for search assignments.
- Contribute to a team environment that is positive, collaborative, and supportive.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process for different roles, including collecting applications, screening candidates, and conducting reference checks.
Ideal Skills, Experiences & Competencies:
- Post-secondary education in business, human resources, marketing or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered
- Recruitment experience will be considered as asset.
- Tenacity and persistence, completing complex and extended projects provides a sense of accomplishment.
- Personable and professional communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone or in an email.
- An appreciation for being a productive member of a high-functioning team through dedicated, independent work.
- Strong computer skills along with experience using different databases and online platforms to provide project research.
- High degree of organization and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong motivation to produce high-quality work, as well as strong attention to detail.
- Natural curiosity, strong critical thinking, and a competitive spirit.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and resourceful.
