Our client, a successful and respected law firm in the National Capital Region and Eastern Ontario is currently looking for a client focused Litigation Associate with 2 to 5 years of demonstrated litigation experience to support our Kingston or Ottawa offices. Their litigation team is dynamic and has the bench strength and talent to attract clients with complex litigation needs. While they are a growing firm, their focus is on selectively adding top legal talent demonstrated through experience and academic excellence.
The successful candidate will have experience in complex litigation.

Key Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ of demonstrated construction litigation experience in a law firm.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Court and/or trial experience would be considered a strong asset.
- Law degree from an accredited Canadian Law school and must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Strong practice management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical, and research skills.
- Strong legal, advocacy and organizational skills.
- Must be able to balance competing demands as well as being self-motivated, innovative and flexible.
