Privileged to be representing Atlantic Canada with BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) and a full line up in sales, service, and parts, from Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Can-Am ATV and side-by-sides, and 3-Wheel motorcycles. On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Financial Services Manager to join their team of dedicated professionals in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. 

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Financial Services Manager will organize and coordinate the in-direct lending programs for the dealership and selling add-on programs (extended warranty etc.). Creating and processing all necessary documentation for financial approval, regulatory registration, inventory control, as well as collaborating with the Service department around unit builds and timings of delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining all relationships with outside lending facilities and other services providers, keeping abreast of any changes in the programs and relaying them to management.

Essential Job Duties: 

  • Oversee the entire loan application process from origination to final approval.
  • Provide compelling opportunities for warranty extension products and cross-sell other products to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Work with Sales Manager or designated manager, in ensuring that upcoming sales units required for pickup, are in the scheduled line up to meet the commitments made for delivery.
  • Stay current on and remain in compliance with all required laws and regulations relating to F&I (Finance & Insurance).
  • Establish a stead-fast criteria for processing all applications, regardless of credit scores.
  • Maintain a balanced portfolio with all lending sources.
  • Monitor the collection of all loans and the accompanying funding.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records associated with the lending process and delivery schedules etc. in the dealership platform. (in all cases other colleagues should be able to determine the status of the sale and timing of decisions and outputs).
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, monthly, quarterly and year-end records/reports associated with the lending and add-ons through the iA platform. All data entry to be completed in a timely manner and reviewed with Sales Manager (before the 5th business day of next month).
  • Provide accurate rolling forecasts, based upon projected unit deliveries.
  • Work with Sales Manager or designated manager to meet department sales goals and quotas (including add-on products).
  • Join colleagues, as assigned and/or needed in covering the showroom floor and answering call-in customers in the capacity of a sales representative (backup).
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all employees and current and potential customers.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of current inventory levels at all times as well as the knowledge of how to add new inventory in the platform.
  • Participate in sales meetings and sales initiatives both in-house and outside the Dealership.
  • Other duties that may be required of this position.


As the ideal candidate, you are a self-motivated sales professional possessing 2-3 years’ experience in the financial field or equivalent training. Gained through previous sales experience, established proven sales skills and closing abilities will be key to success in this role. With strong sales acumen and drive for success, you clearly demonstrate the desire to “make the sale!”. With exceptional interpersonal skills, you possess a great attitude and willingness to learn, along with demonstrated ability to interact with others on a professional level. Strong attention to detail, computer skills, and excellent follow-through abilities will be essential. A high school diploma or equivalent as well as a valid driver’s license are required.

Physical Demands:

  • The ability sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • The ability to use keyboard and computer for extended length of time.
