This role is integral to driving the development, implementation, and ongoing success of the graduate internship program and sector data initiatives. What You Will Do:
- Program Leadership: Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing success of techNL’s graduate internship program, including project structuring, employer recruitment, invoicing, financial analysis, and program evaluation.
- Sector Data Initiatives: Lead data collection and analysis efforts, collaborating with stakeholders to create insightful reports on the state of the tech sector and labor market.
- Labor Market Insights: Prepare and disseminate data-driven insights and reports to key stakeholders, helping to inform decisions and shape future strategies.
- Project Management: Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and ensuring successful outcomes for each.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with technology companies, public and private funders, post-secondary institutions, and research organizations to support program success and ecosystem growth.
- Administrative Support: Perform other administrative duties as required, including local travel for program-related activities.
Who You Are:
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business, data, finance, economics, or a related field is considered an asset. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of specific educational requirements.
- Project Management Experience: Experience managing multiple projects/programs with strong attention to detail.
- Data Savvy: Experience with data collection, management, and analysis is a plus.
- Collaborative: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including tech companies, government entities, educational institutions, and other partners.
- Self-Starter: Able to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to varied audiences.
- Tech-Proficient: Experience with tools like HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Trello, or other project management and CRM tools is an asset.
- Creative Problem Solver: Ability to develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges and improve program outcomes.
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advocate: Commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments and promoting equity within the tech sector.

Additional Details:
- This role is a full-time contract position, with the contract expiring on March 31, 2030.
- This position involves working primarily in-person, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, although employees are encouraged to be present in the office for all five workdays.
- The role includes a mandatory group health benefits plan.
- 3 weeks paid annual vacation included.
