Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with Cox & Palmer, one of the largest law firms in Atlantic Canada, to recruit for their Intermediate Information Technology Operations Lead role that will be based in our Moncton, NB office.

Role Description:
The Intermediate IT Operations Lead is responsible for providing daily technical support, maintenance for hardware and software, and helping ensure the IT operations of the firm and predominantly the Moncton office function properly. Please note the percentage and tasks allocated to this role are subject to change based on the needs and requirements of the firm.
Responsibilities include:
• Assemble, image and configure workstations, laptops and servers according to client project specifications and details
• Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking issues
• Perform support fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and application
• Monitor ticketing system (Fresh service) to ensure timely resolution of technical support issues
• Document any and all changes to technical environments
• Follow existing check lists to ensure a consistent results for routine and common tasks within our proactive IT management services
• Proactively access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases to aid in technical support problem resolution
• Assist IT Managers and Regional Team with any technical support issues requiring remote assistance
• Act as a backup to the local IT Manager when required
• Perform scheduled updates and patches to the environment when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ year's experience in a managed IT services role
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of tech support issues while assisting other technical support team members
• Excellent customer service orientation as this is a customer-facing role
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
