We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Carol Lake Metal Works (CLMW), where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and by representing Hardox, the world's leading wear-resistant steel brand.

CLMW is the only licensed Hardox Wear Parts Center in the region. As an Outside Sales Representative at CLMW, you will sell high-quality MTG - Ground Engaging Tools, Valley Blades cutting edges and blades and other mining-related products tailored to the mining industry's needs. 
Reporting to the President, you will drive sales growth, identify new opportunities, and build lasting relationships within the heavy equipment mining sector. What You Will Do:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and sales quotas within the La
  • brador and Quebec regions.
  • Identify and engage potential clients in the mining sector through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities related to GET, cutting edges, structural steel, and other mining-related products.
  • Inspect products in the field to evaluate performance and provide clients with detailed reports on product lifespan and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that products align with customer needs and expectations.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, offering outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the ERP system.

Who You Are:
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus on heavy equipment and mining products.
  • You ideally possess strong knowledge of GET, cutting edges, structural steel, and other wear items relevant to the mining industry.
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • You are self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • You are comfortable with travel and working both in the office and in the field.
  • Regular Travel to CLMW Head-Office in Labrador Required
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual /Proficiency in French considered an asset
