Katherine Risley Inducted as President of Progress Club, Halifax Citadel

Meridia Recruitment Solutions congratulates Katherine Risley, Senior Consultant, on her recent induction as the President of the Canadian Progress Club - Halifax Citadel. 

Katherine has been an active member of this charitable foundation since 2012, leading fundraising initiatives in support of charities like Phoenix Youth Programs, HomeBridge Youth Society, Adsum House and Nova Scotia Special Olympics as well as Canadian Special Olympics nationally.

Originally from Halifax, Katherine spent 6 years working for a highly regarded recruitment firm based in Toronto, before returning home to join Meridia. Now with over a decade of experience in recruiting top talent, Katherine specializes in identifying outstanding professionals for Engineering, Operations, Construction and Supply Chain roles. 

Beyond her involvement with the Canadian Progress Club, Katherine is a member of Women in Engineering – Nova Scotia and has volunteered in support of Dress for Success, Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, and Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS).

Katherine was officially inducted on June 16, 2016 and the organization commenced their new year in September.
