As a Financial Consultant, you will work closely with clients and consulting teams to provide financial analysis, planning, and business advisory support. You will leverage financial information to help organizations make informed decisions, improve performance, and execute strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting client engagements through financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and business planning;
- Developing financial models, business cases, and decision-support tools;
- Analyzing financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks;
- Providing practical recommendations that support client growth and organizational effectiveness;
- Participating in client meetings and presentations while communicating financial information in a clear and meaningful manner;
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality consulting solutions;
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, reporting, and decision-making frameworks;
- Supporting the development of management reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics;
- Contributing to strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of Barrington Consulting Group.
As the ideal candidate, you are a collaborative and analytical finance professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Your qualifications include:
- CPA designation (or in program)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline;
- 3-7 years of progressive experience in public accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, consulting, or corporate finance;
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities;
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel;
- Experience working with ERP, accounting, and reporting systems;
- Power BI experience would be considered a strong asset;
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills;
- A proactive mindset and desire to continuously learn and develop.
