Role Description

As a Site Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of various construction projects. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Working across greenfield developments and renovation projects, you will leverage modern construction technology and industry best practices to optimize project delivery while fostering a positive and productive site culture.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

· Leading day-to-day construction site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule;

· Managing and coordinating trade contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel;

· Developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules and construction sequencing plans;

· Ensuring construction sites are safe, clean, organized, and operating in accordance with company and regulatory standards;

· Participating in site procurement activities and coordinating material deliveries to support project progress;

· Managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining clear communication with project teams, clients, and consultants;

· Utilizing construction technology platforms including Procore and SiteDocs to track progress, document activities, and support project reporting;

· Applying LEAN construction principles and continuous improvement practices to optimize project delivery and site performance;

· Monitoring quality control, site productivity, and project milestones while proactively addressing construction challenges and risks.

Your Qualifications

As the ideal candidate, you are a collaborative and experienced construction professional with a strong background managing construction projects. You bring a modern approach to site leadership, combining technical expertise with strong communication and organizational skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and overseeing diverse project teams, you are passionate about safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Your ability to leverage technology, build strong stakeholder relationships, and successfully navigate complex construction challenges positions you as a key contributor to project success.

Qualifications Include:

· Approximately 10 years of progressive construction industry experience;

· Demonstrated experience supervising commercial, industrial, or complex construction projects;

· Strong understanding of construction scheduling, site coordination, and project execution;

· Experience working with multiple trades and subcontractors in active construction environments;

· Proficiency with digital construction management tools such as Procore, SiteDocs, and Microsoft Office applications;

· Knowledge of LEAN construction principles and process optimization methodologies;

· Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills;

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout Atlantic Canada and work on-site Monday through Friday;

· Valid driver's license and commitment to maintaining a safe, productive, and professional work environment.
