The Role
NuVista is seeking a psychiatrist to join its established Lincoln Clinic. This is an opportunity to build and shape your own practice within a supportive environment that offers a consistent referral base, strong administrative support, and access to innovative care models. You will play a key role in delivering trauma-informed mental health services, supporting specialized programs such as TMS and psychedelic medicine, and contributing to a collaborative, team-based model of care. With billing, scheduling, and operational functions managed for you, this role allows you to focus your time and expertise on delivering high-quality clinical care while growing your professional practice.
Key Areas of Leadership and Oversight
Clinical Care Delivery: Provide trauma-informed psychiatric care, including psychotherapy, treatment-resistant depression, and comprehensive assessments aligned with evidence-based practices.
Specialized Program Support: Contribute to and support TMS and psychedelic medicine programs, working collaboratively across clinical disciplines.
Practice & Caseload Management: Manage an active caseload, ensuring timely documentation, reporting, and continuity of care.
Collaborative Care Model: Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration and clinical consultation to enhance patient outcomes.
Professional Contribution: Support ongoing quality improvement and advancement of clinical services within the clinic.

With a strong sense of professionalism and clinical judgment, you bring both expertise and curiosity to your practice while thriving in a multidisciplinary setting.
Qualifications and Experience
While the Search Committee recognizes that no one candidate is likely to meet all qualifications in equal measure, those listed below are desirable and will be used to compare candidates.
• Doctoral degree (MD or equivalent)
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience in psychiatry
• Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience providing psychiatric assessments, psychotherapy, and trauma-informed care
• Experience working with individuals with treatment-resistant depression (TRD), trauma-related conditions, and PTSD.
• Experience working with veterans, first responders, or complex case populations is preferred
• Interest or experience in emerging therapies (e.g., TMS, psychedelic-assisted care)
• Experience working within clinical or community-based healthcare environments
