Meridia Recruitment is excited to partner with techNL in seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join their team as the Professional Experience and Insights Lead (Maternity Leave Replacement). This role is integral to driving the development, implementation, and ongoing success of the graduate internship program and sector data initiatives. Your work will directly support the growth and innovation of Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech ecosystem.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the continued success of techNL’s newly launched graduate internship program, overseeing project structure, employer recruitment support, invoicing, financial analysis, and other related activities.
  • Continue to grow and expand techNL’s sector data initiatives by overseeing and collaborating with techNL’s Mitacs Research Intern, coordinating data collection with researchers and stakeholders, conducting detailed data analysis, and producing and disseminating insightful reports for the tech sector.
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks and local travel as necessary to support the organization's objectives.
  • The Employee may also be required to perform other related tasks as directed by the Employer’s management.

Additional Details:
  • This is a full-time temporary contract position with an anticipated duration of 18 months.
  • The role is primarily in-person, with employees expected to work onsite at least three days per week. There is flexibility to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, although team members are encouraged to attend the office throughout the workweek when possible.
  • While this position is tied to a temporary contract, we are committed to retaining high-performing employees whenever opportunities exist. We actively look for ways to transition strong contributors into other roles within the organization, even when their current contract or position comes to an end.
