The Opportunity
Sea Centric is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Contracts and Business Development to lead their market expansion strategy and accelerate revenue growth. This senior leadership role will focus on driving business development, building strategic partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities.
As a key external ambassador, you will play a critical role in executing the organization’s commercial strategy while strengthening relationships across industry, government, and key stakeholders
What You Will Do:
- Lead business development efforts to drive revenue growth and expand market share
- Identify, prioritize, and secure new opportunities across key sectors and clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, government, and executive-level stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and strengthen Sea Centric’s market presence
- Lead and support the development of proposals, bids, and funding applications to win new business
- Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial strategy with organizational goals and deliver client-focused solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, commerce, or related field (MBA considered an asset)
- 8–12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets
- Experience leading full sales cycles from prospecting to contract execution
- Strong background in proposal development and competitive bids
- Demonstrated success building relationships with senior and executive-level clients
- Shape and lead the organization’s commercial growth strategy at a critical stage
- Drive meaningful impact through high-visibility partnerships and opportunities
- Play a hands-on role in expanding into new markets and sectors
