We pride ourselves on a collegial, supportive team environment and are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our Charlottetown office.

This is a senior role suited for a confident professional who can manage corporate files with minimal supervision and provide guidance and support to lawyers and junior team members. As a Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting corporate transactions, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring the accuracy and organization of corporate records.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive support to the firm’s clients in all aspects of corporate transactions, including asset and share purchases and sales, reorganizations, and financings.
• Independently complete incorporations, amendments, continuances, amalgamations, dissolutions, revivals, and reorganizations of Provincial and Federal entities.
• Conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews in support of transactional matters.
• Prepare and file PPSA registrations and conduct related searches.
• Review, organize, and maintain complex corporate minute books.
• Assist lawyers with transactional closings and post-closing matters.
• Record billable and non-billable time in accordance with firm standards.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior staff where appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as required.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Completion of a Paralegal or Legal Assistant diploma, or post-secondary education in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably within a law firm environment.
• Strong working knowledge of corporate statutes, filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with corporate databases and legal document management systems.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while also mentoring and supporting junior team members.
