Role Description
Reporting directly to the President, you will serve in a hands on, senior field engineering role with a strong emphasis on customer interaction, technical problem solving, and system deployment. The successful candidate will work closely with Aethera® leadership, engineering and customers to support the design, layout, integration, and deployment of complex RF systems worldwide.
Over time, you will become a trusted technical point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, contributing across both field and office environments. In this role, you will play a meaningful part in strengthening customer relationships and supporting Aethera®’s continued international growth.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the design, layout, integration, and deployment of RF wireless communication systems.
- Develop and apply an end to end understanding of system architecture, including site layouts, shelters, and interconnections.
- Support site configuration drawings, physical layouts, and system documentation for field installations.
- Apply electrical and RF engineering principles to support system performance, including propagation considerations.
- Act as a senior, customer facing technical resource, engaging with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
- Conduct domestic and international travel for customer meetings, site assessments, inspections, and maintenance support.
- Translate field observations into practical design improvements and technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful, long term system performance.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or an Electrical Engineering Technology diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in electrical or RF systems, field engineering, or system deployment.
- Solid foundation in electrical systems; RF experience strongly desired.
- Ability to move comfortably between field environments, design discussions, and customer conversations.
- Strong problem solving skills and curiosity for learning complex systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
Preferred / Asset Experience:
- RF transmission systems, antennas, or long range wireless communications.
- Field support roles in RF, broadcast, sonar, radar, or similar technologies.
- Experience in customer support, technical service, or application engineering roles.
- Exposure to propagation modeling, system layout, or site configuration drawings.
