Position Scope:
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud Operations, the Network Administrator will support network connectivity operations across ANBL and CNB's corporate and retail environments. This role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure optimal reliability, performance, and security. Working closely with the Network Architect and fellow IT team members, the Network Administrator plays a hands-on role in keeping critical systems operational across more than 70 locations.

Position Scope:

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure in partnership with Service NB to ensure optimal speed and reliability across ANBL and CNB
- Identify, schedule, and administer software and hardware upgrades, patches, and configurations
- Analyze network traffic logs to detect, investigate, and mitigate security incidents
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, firewall-related problems, and usability concerns in a timely manner
- Develop and enforce security policies to control inbound and outbound traffic
- Apply strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall administration
- Collaborate with the Network Architect to implement new solutions and anticipate potential issues before they impact users
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation and a current inventory of configuration items including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and routers
Position Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in system and network administration in a medium-to-enterprise-scale environment
- Practical experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
- Broad knowledge of networking concepts including LAN/WAN/WLAN, segmentation, Zero Trust, and VPN
- Strong analytical skills in diagnosing network performance bottlenecks and addressing security vulnerabilities
- Strong knowledge of ITIL standards for managing incidents, changes, and service requests
- Exceptional documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed, and maintainable technical documentation
Assets:
- Networking certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CISSP, or HPE Aruba ACSA/ACA
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewall configuration and management
- Experience working with retail environment technologies and standards, including PCI/DSS
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSE or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect/Administrator
- Experience with SD-WAN and software-defined networking technologies
- ITIL certification and knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning
