Position Scope:
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud Operations, the Team Lead will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, coordination, and oversight across the technical operations team. This role serves as the central coordination point for infrastructure delivery, ensuring consistent execution across network, systems, end-user computing, and cloud functions. The Team Lead will also lead major incident response, support operational governance, and drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and service quality.

Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and assign daily work across the technical team based on operational urgency, service commitments, and project priorities
- Provide direction and structure to technical staff, ensuring tasks are well understood and effectively executed
- Coordinate ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and implementations that support the infrastructure stack
- Ensure consistent execution of operational processes including monitoring, incident resolution, change management, and asset lifecycle management
- Lead coordination during major incidents, acting as the escalation point for the operations team and ensuring timely resolution and follow-up
- Coordinate technical contributions to project-related deliverables, aligning team availability with project managers and the Infrastructure & Cloud Manager
- Ensure environments, infrastructure dependencies, and technical prerequisites are in place for solutions delivery
- Reinforce adherence to standards, documentation requirements, and quality expectations across all technical work
- Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute recommendations for improving infrastructure processes, tooling, and monitoring
Position Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical infrastructure or systems roles
- 2+ years of experience leading or coordinating a technical team
- Solid understanding of infrastructure domains including networking, servers and storage, endpoint management, cloud services, and data centres
- Knowledge of ITIL-aligned operational processes, including incident, problem, change, and asset/lifecycle management
- Experience working across multiple infrastructure domains (network, systems, EUC, monitoring, cloud)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Assets:
- ITIL Foundations certification
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
