Role Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for taking ownership of the efficient movement of materials and finished goods across the supply chain. This role is critical for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products, maintaining accurate ERP data, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration. You will interact with sales, engineering, and procurement teams, as well as external stakeholders, and manage international shipments, including customs and regulated goods.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Optimize daily logistical operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, bookings, and routes
  • Track shipments, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues as needed
  • Manage claims or debit notes for damages or shortages
  • Support fulfillment of customer orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Generate reports and provide feedback to improve ERP processes
  • Perform administrative and production-related tasks as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliant shipping of controlled goods by air and ground, in accordance with applicable regulations

Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings a solid background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with experience managing time-sensitive shipments and making independent decisions. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are comfortable taking ownership of processes from start to finish.

Your qualifications include:
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Valid certification to ship dangerous goods by air and ground is required
  • Hands-on experience managing international shipments, including customs documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of shipping procedures for regulated or controlled goods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to track multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work independently, make decisions, and take initiative to resolve issues as they arise
  • Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards, ensuring compliance throughout the shipping and logistics process
  • Comfortable using technology, including ERP systems, logistics software, and Microsoft Office, to manage shipments, track data, and generate reports
