Role Description
The Manager, People & Culture will take a lead role in shaping the employee experience across Cherubini. This position supports daily people operations while providing trusted guidance to managers and employees. You will lead with clarity and compassion, strengthen relationships across the organization, and help drive a consistent, people-first culture through proactive support, coaching, and operational HR leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspire a strong safety culture by promoting proactive practices and encouraging employee involvement
- Lead and coach the team, fostering growth, collaboration, and accountability
- Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to departments, including defining KPIs and elevating performance
- Support managers through employee relations matters, investigations, and navigating provincial legislation
- Champion mental health and employee well-being by connecting staff to appropriate resources
- Leading recruitment and onboarding with a people-first mindset and strengthening external partnerships
- Create meaningful moments through engagement initiatives and employee events
- Serve as a resource for immigration questions and building community connections
- Develop policies and documentation that align with the organization’s values and goals
- Coordinate audits and work with legal counsel on complex or sensitive HR matters
Your Qualifications
With proven experience in people leadership and operational HR, you bring sound judgment, strong relationship skills, and the ability to work hands-on in a dynamic environment. You excel at navigating employee relations, supporting leaders, and creating clarity in a complex environment.
Your qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field; experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is an asset.
- Prior experience leading/managing people is required
- Demonstrated skills in employee relations, investigations, and day-to-day people support
- Knowledge of employment legislation, immigration programs, and HR best practices
- Ability to manage competing priorities while remaining accessible and people-focused
- A values-driven approach rooted in trust, teamwork, and accountability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
