Our client Owens MacFadyen Group, a boutique Wealth Management firm is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Toronto.

Your Responsibilities:

• Fast-paced work environment
• All work performed does not need to be reviewed
• Shareholder agreement summaries
• Managing Excel tools and updating them for tax changes
• Presentation creation and delivery
•  Monthly tax calls
• New advisor training modules
• Special request per advisor for a client
• Review junior financial analyst work and provide training
• Assist with initial training
• Review junior work for errors
• Train junior on new concepts when applicable
• Insurance analysis
• Current yields
• New illustration comparisons
• Effect on estate due to life insurance
• Other insurance carrier product analysis
• Training advisors
• Weekly calls with groups of advisors, presenting information
• Complete tasks resulting from meetings without delay
• Advanced in all 5 KRAs (Knowledge Responsibility Areas): Personal & Corporate Taxation, Insurance Taxation, Trust Taxation, Wills, and Family Trusts

Your Requirements:

• Post secondary degree/diploma in financial services, business, or office administration or an acceptable combination of education and relevant work experience
• 5+ years of work experience in financial Services or client service role preferably in the financial services industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Applications
• Desire to grow and expand capabilities & responsibilities
• Working / earned at least 1 –2 Designation 4-6 years post Hire:
•  CFA/CPA/CFP/CIM/CLU
