The Opportunity

Meridia Recruitment is excited to partner with Inland Group in seeking a Winter Operations Manager. This role is critical to delivering operational excellence during the winter season by managing all aspects of de-icing, recovery and fluid processing operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and superior customer service.

Reporting to the Station Manager, the Winter Operations Manager will lead a team of supervisors and operators, oversee equipment maintenance, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage daily winter operations, including aircraft de-icing, glycol recovery, and fluid processing.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe acts.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate snow removal and storm preparedness activities.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, inventory, and equipment maintenance programs.
  • Foster positive relationships with airport authorities, contractors, and suppliers.
Who You Are:
  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Science or related technical fields (asset).
  • Experience in industrial fluid processing, chemical production, or manufacturing. 
  • Experience in airline operational experience, including de-icing and safety compliance, is considered an asset.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
