  • Oversee monthly financials, variance analysis, and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting processes.
  • Champion internal controls, data integrity, and risk management across finance operations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and collaboration.
  • Build strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and system partners.
  • Collaborate across departments to support innovation, modernization, and member experience.

As the ideal candidate you will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business + CPA designation.
  • 7+ years of experience, including 3+ in a leadership role (ideally in financial services).
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial institution regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Experience with Interest Rate Swaps and Mortgage Securitization is a plus!
  • A sharp eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.

Why you’ll love working at East Coast Credit Union:

  • A values-driven culture that’s collaborative, inclusive, and community-focused.
  • 100% employer-paid health & dental plan, plus above industry pension contribution with employer match.
  • Tuition reimbursement, ongoing training, and personal development opportunities.
  • Wellness perks like paid volunteer time, annual wellness credit, and reduced rates on employee loans/mortgages.
