As our Credit & Collections Manager, you’ll ensure our receivables and collections run smoothly by leading a team focused on reducing delinquency, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Job Duties:
  • Working with the CFO and Controller, develop and execute a comprehensive collections strategy aligned with company revenue goals and cash flow targets.
  • Lead and manage the collections team, ensuring consistent practices and performance standards.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), aging reports, and collection effectiveness.
  • Oversee collections activities, ensuring compliance with required regulations and considerations.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with clients to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to address billing disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline collections and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Leverage systems and collection tools to automate workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all collection activities.
  • Assess credit risk and recommend account holds or escalations as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and reporting.
  • Manage a team to foster a high-performance culture.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, or related discipline
  • Expert knowledge of credit analysis, risk management process and industry best practices
  • Excellent financial statement analysis skills 
  • Hands-on experience in Credit & Collections, with several years of management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of operational processes, technology and people management techniques
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution skills and effective negotiating skills
  • Strong management, reporting, prioritization, and priority setting skills.
