As our Collections Clerk, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate invoicing while supporting the credit and collections team to uphold our high standards for timely revenue collection and exceptional customer service.
Job Duties:
- Review billing data for completeness and resolve discrepancies with internal teams.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and customer communications.
- Apply daily cash payments to customer accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and flag overdue accounts for follow-up.
- Prepare monthly customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts. Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Assist with month-end AR reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all collection activities.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure timely revenue collection.
Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a relevant field is preferred.
- 1 – 3 years of credit and collections experience.
- 1 – 3 years of billing or AR experience would be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
