Senior Manager, Private Client Advisory Tax

Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered up with one of the country’s largest associations of chartered accounting firms to recruit a Senior Manager to join their Private Client Advisory (PCA) Tax practice in their office located in Windsor, Ontario. Role Description

•   Evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on PCA Tax policy and change to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.
•   Applying specialized PCA tax knowledge for clients to anticipate, identify and address tax issues relevant to the client’s business.
•   Providing both technical and project management leadership to team members for tax projects or assignments, ensuring quality control standards.
•   Identifying as well as developing and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities. This includes preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations, and reviewing tax returns.
•   Building positive working relationships with clients and providing effective support for engagements.
•   Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team.


Your Requirements:

• A CPA designation as well having completed the In-Depth Tax Program and/or Masters in Tax.
• 7 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in private client tax for a minimum of 3 years.
• Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate international tax planning and compliance.
• A strong commitment to teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
