On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Director, Communications to join their team of dedicated professionals in Dieppe, New Brunswick. Reporting to, and working closely with, the Vice President, Communications, the Director, Communications will manage the corporate communications team, working to articulate, advance, and build support for the company’s organizational goals and objectives.
As the ideal candidate, you are a senior strategic communications professional possessing significant communication planning experience and superior writing and editing skills. You have 10+ years of demonstrated strategic communications experience working in a corporate or agency environment at a senior level with responsibilities including media relations, and crisis and issues management. Experience in social and digital content development would also be preferred. A thoughtful collaborator and experienced team leader, you are able to effectively engage and work across diverse stakeholder groups, providing strategic communication advice and counsel to senior leadership, resulting in strong relationships, understanding, and trust. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality work environment where attention to detail is critical, while managing multiple projects and competing priorities. An undergraduate degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or equivalent is required. Bilingualism will be considered a strong asset.
