Senior Paralegal, Corporate/M&A

Montreal, QC – Remote in Quebec – Remote in Canada



Our client is seeking a Senior Paralegal, Corporate/M&A for their Montréal office. This can be a fully remote role.

Working in conjunction with the lawyers in their practice group, they performs routine transactions such as incorporations, amendments to articles, amalgamations, dissolutions, business name and partnership registrations, extra-provincial registrations of corporations and limited partnerships and related corporate maintenance tasks.

The paralegal is in charge of several clients and corporate groups, actively participating in commercial transactions and tax reorganizations by being in charge of the preparation of corporate documents and the closing agenda, in collaboration with the lawyers. The paralegal also participates in the training of junior paralegals.

In order for the firm to meet its clients' objectives, it is imperative that the paralegal be responsive, resourceful, professional and customer service oriented, as well as able to manage mandates and priorities in order to move files forward and meet deadlines.


  • Minimum of seven years experience in a firm.
  • Paralegal certificate or diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, lawyers and team members.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Proven ability to manage a heavy workload, with competing priorities and demands.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, EnAct/Alf and Aderant.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Bilingualism required (French and English).
