On behalf of one of the province’s longest standing and most successful companies we are seeking a Help Desk Technician to be based in St. John’s, NL. Joining a busy and dynamic team the Technician will provide first level IT support and assistance for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assuming ownership of IT related issues sent to the Help Desk
• Providing support for all operating systems and relevant applications throughout the Company
• Participating in the departmental on-call rotation providing after-hours support
• Addressing IT related tasks and assignments as directed by the Manager of Information Technology
We seek a candidate with the following:
• University Degree in Computer Studies or comparable certificate in Computer Science from a recognized institution is required.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communications skills and attention to detail.
