Meridia Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team! Meridia Recruitment Solutions is a KBRS company, sharing a 46-year tradition of recruitment excellence that has led to the growth of the firm as Eastern Canada’s largest human capital solutions organization. Meridia focuses on providing high quality, fast turnaround recruitment for professional and technical positions in Canada and the US. We are currently expanding our professional services recruitment team in Ontario. We are looking for recruiters who are passionate and dedicated to providing exemplary client service to help with our expanding business across Canada.

We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to support Meridia Recruitments growing Toronto Division. You would be supporting searches within the professional services industries within Central Canada.

In this role, you will develop innovative strategies to target ideal candidates for specialized roles across professional service sectors. You will mine LinkedIn, company websites and databases for candidates matching a client’s needs. You will also perform telephone interviews to pre-screen candidates and make recommendations to Consultants and Partners on the strongest candidates. You will partner with Consultants and Partners on a search from start to finish, from writing proposals to developing job descriptions and job ads, to identifying and assessing candidates and performing reference calls and background checks.


What you bring:

  • Tenacity and persistence, completing complex and extended projects provides a sense of accomplishment
  • Personable and professional communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone or in an email
  • An appreciation for being a productive member of a high functioning team through dedicated, independent work
  • Strong computer skills along with experience using different databases and online platforms to provide project research
  • High degree of organization and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong motivation to produce high quality work, as well as strong attention to detail
  • Natural curiosity, strong critical thinking, and a competitive spirit
  • Experience in Recruitment, Legal, and/or Accounting industries is considered an asset
