Our client, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to giving back to the communities where they live and work, is seeking a new Recruitment Consultant. They are one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures. Together, their mission is to improve the well-being of Canadians.

 

The Recruitment Consultant will own the full recruitment experience and be an ambassador for their brand and culture. You will proactively build community/professional relationships and execute creative and innovative sourcing strategies. You will have a strong focus on understanding the marketplace to be able to uncover top talent for current and future staffing needs.

 

Role Description:

  • Accountable for the entire recruiting life cycle from candidate presentation to offer acceptance
  • Partner with Hiring Leaders to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage client group expectations through a deep understanding of their staffing needs
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of potential candidates through pro-active market research and ongoing relationship management
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate Hiring Leader preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  • Participate in special projects and lead recruitment initiatives that support staffing efforts and ensuring alignment with the organization’s values, vision, and strategic objectives
  • Curate an exceptional candidate experience at each point of contact
  • Forge excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and work strategically to assist in the resolution of staffing challenges
  • Leverage external networking and professional associations to reinforce career opportunities
  • Lead new employee onboarding initiatives to ensure a positive and welcoming experience
  • Contribute to other recruitment activities from time to time, including job fairs, presentations, and related activities both virtually and off-site

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience including sourcing and full life-cycle recruiting
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of HR and/or college diploma/certificate in Human Resource Management will be considered
  • ATS (Applicant Tracking System) experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates; MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategies, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to finding talent
  • Relationship management skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence
  • Detail-oriented with superior follow-up and proven ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with remote hiring and onboarding; Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
