We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Reporting to join their talented team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, Corporate Reporting, this position plays an active role in complex accounting and internal financial reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Reporting is a member of the Corporate Reporting team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead role in the production of accurate, relevant, and timely consolidated monthly financial statements including the consolidated balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows
  • Lead role in preparation of key performance metrics and management reporting
  • Actively involved in the accounting of non-routine or complex transactions including financial instruments, refinancing, acquisitions etc.
  • Supporting role in the production of relevant group and statutory financial reporting including consolidated financial statements
  • Assisting the Finance Manager, Corporate Reporting in oversight and implementation of new accounting standards under IFRS and other relevant GAAP.
  • Assisting in the completion of the external audit.
  • Working with an effective, efficient, and motivated team in the Corporate Reporting group
  • Participate in short and long-term strategic planning initiatives as requested
  • Assist in maintaining internal controls over financial reporting for the Corporate Reporting group; and
  • Constantly seek to improve the efficiency in internal and group reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CPA designation
  • A minimum of three to five years progressive experience
  • Experience with IFRS
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and within a small group environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to meet strict and constant deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a team environment with the desire to seek continuous improvement
