On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Manager, Digital Marketing to join their team of dedicated professionals in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

 

In a process-driven and analytics-focused marketing department, the Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for the creation, oversight, execution and analysis of the firm’s digital strategy to align with the firm’s marketing and business development goals and budget. This role will also lead the firm’s promotional marketing initiatives, liaising with agency partners and ensuring brand standards are being met consistently and to the highest standard at all touchpoints. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, core areas of responsibility include: social media, website, advertising and design, podcasts, promotional videos, client e-newsletters, award nominations, and directories.


As the ideal candidate, you possess five to seven years in a related marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations role; ideally with B2B marketing experience. Agency experience will be preferred. Must have one to two years’ experience in a manager role with direct report(s). Proven experience in leading the strategy and creating engaging content for digital platforms, campaigns and initiatives, including copy, imagery and video; tracking and interpreting results is essential. Experience with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite; experience using a CMS (WordPress); knowledge of SEO best practices, will be key to success in the role. You have experience managing advertising and design projects with design partners. With exceptional writing, organization, project management, communication and interpersonal skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. A university degree in business, marketing or communications is required.
