Job Title: Procurement Consultant

WorkSafeNB is going through an organizational transformation and will make significant and necessary investments to transform their systems, processes and organization, to build a workplace that delivers service with a view to meeting or exceeding their clients’ expectations. As such, they expect to undertake some significant public procurement initiatives, including a new enterprise resource planning system and new claims management system. To provide guidance and support to the business during this time of change, we are looking to recruit a Procurement Consultant to work with the organization in a contract position. This successful candidate is able to work remotely.
In this role your responsibilities would include:
- Advise on and develop
- Strategic planning for procurement opportunities
- Effective structure and content of complex RFPs
- Complex RFXs evaluation structure and process to ensure effective outcome
- Working collaboratively with Legal, and other internal stakeholders
As the ideal candidate you bring experience developing and implementing procurement strategy for enterprise scale projects in a public sector environment. Having been a part of full operational or business transformation in the past enables you to bring a tool kit of industry best practice and lessons learned to support this endeavour. Additionally, your communication and stakeholder engagement skills support your ability to incorporate the needs of all areas of the business into the identification of the right solutions.
