On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Director – Business Development & Programs to join their leadership team.

 

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director – Business Development & Programs will be the primary contact with all customers (existing and potential) to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and to bring growth opportunities to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible to lead Program Managers (PM) at STELIA North America (SNA) to ensure consistent application of standardized program reporting and performance metrics, as well as adherence to their visions and values in carrying out day-to-day job functions. Ensuring governance for SNA’s programs in accordance with the policies and best practices will be essential. The Director – Business Development & Programs will also oversee coordination of Program related activities between all SNA departments and the customers and to ensure effective customer relationships, as well as manage and oversee all quoting/proposal activities.

 

As the ideal candidate, you are a motivated and self-driven professional possessing a minimum of ten years management experience in business development, sales and/or engineering environment within the aerospace industry. Experience in composites would be highly regarded. You are highly independent and show great initiative. The ability to summarize issues concisely, work remotely and communicate at all levels, both within SNA and with customers will be key to success in the role. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. Ability to read, write and speak French language would be considered an asset. Degree level education in commerce, business or engineering is required.
