A.W. Leil Cranes & Equipment has been proudly serving the Atlantic Canadian boom truck and crane rental market for over 60 years. They have one of the largest and diverse rental fleets of hydraulic cranes in Atlantic Canada and offer a wide selection of boom trucks, carry decks, all terrain, crawler, truck and rough terrain cranes. They have optimized their fleet to service all types of industries from commercial and industrial construction to infrastructure and wind turbine erection and maintenance. On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Branch Manager to join their team of dedicated professionals in Saint John, New Brunswick.


The Branch Manager will lead their expansion plans in Saint John, New Brunswick and will be responsible for running a safe and productive operation. This location will be their 2nd location in New Brunswick as they opened their Moncton branch in 2018. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects and organize a crew of equipment operators while maximizing the utilization of resources. The Branch Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities by being proactive in pursuing prospective customers and leveraging existing industry contacts to grow the business. Acting as a liaison between customers and company operations, the successful candidate will conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner.


As the ideal candidate, you are a self-driven, dynamic and customer-focused individual, possessing a minimum of five years work experience in a related fast-paced environment. Experience in heavy equipment and/or equipment rental industries will be preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as a proven record of success in related responsibilities will be key to success in this role. Personable, thorough and detail-oriented, you are able to work well independently and handle working with a variety of schedule changes. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you possess strong professional business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. Post-secondary education is required.
