We’re partnering with Cassels, a leading national law firm that is focused on serving the transaction, advocacy and advisory needs of Canada's most dynamic business sectors. This is your opportunity to join the team in one of the largest business law practices in Canada.  


The Toronto office is currently recruiting for a Director of Office Services on their Operations Team, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. This role has national responsibility for offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. The ideal individual will be a collaborative, proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.



  • Directing, managing and supporting seven main service centers:
    • Client Centre Services (including reception and meeting rooms)
    • Beverage and Food Services
    • Facilities Management
    • Mail Room Services
    • Copy and Scanning Services
    • Procurement and Supplies
    • Travel Management
  • Managing and mentoring a team of 30 people across multiple service centers and office locations.
  • Identifying, developing and ensuring the execution of various departmental initiatives and policies to support exceptional service delivery to both internal and external clients.
  • Working closely with the COO and Senior Leadership Team to plan and implement strategic initiatives focusing on the continuous improvement of Office Services operations.
  • Engaging with the Management Group to collaboratively evaluate and improve firm operations as a whole and provide leadership to the firm.
    Managing external vendor relationships.
  • Developing and managing a national Office Services budget.


  • 7-10 years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in people leadership and managing teams.
  • Experience managing operations across multiple service areas and office locations.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills (experience with project management is an asset).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and collaborative approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and desire to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Strong client service and communication skills.
  • General facilities knowledge and experience.
  • Experience managing external vendor relationships.
  • Previous experience in a partnership or professional services environment is an asset.
  • Records Management experience is an asset.
  • Undergraduate degree.
