Wealth Management Administrator

We are recruiting a Wealth Management Administrator on behalf of our client, a boutique Wealth Management and Benefits Consulting firm which specializes in the high net worth market. They have been providing a unique team based approach to Comprehensive Wealth Management and Benefits Consulting that allows their clients to have significantly better outcomes. Now, with over 80 employees, they have continued to grow successfully with locations in Halifax, Moncton, Saint John and Toronto.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct administrative support to a Wealth Management Advisor or Advisors
  • Client meeting preparation of documents
  • The completion of post-meeting commitments, such as the execution of investment trades
  • Executing transactions as requested by clients
  • Responding to all client service enquiries, as well as those from client’s other professional partners
  • Tracking information for Advisor’s business plan
  • Working in a team environment to ensure best practices and balanced workflow

Your qualifications:

  • Post Secondary degree/diploma or an acceptable combination of education and progressively responsible work experience
  • Desire to pursue knowledge & growth. Excited to pursue securities and insurance licenses
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership of outcomes and a pro-active approach to work
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information with integrity
  • Proven experience as a high performer with high attention to detail
  • Desire to grow and to expand capabilities and responsibilities
  • Understands and recognizes priorities, deadlines and has a sense of urgency
  • Completion of CSC considered an asset
