On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Territory Sales Manager to join their team of dedicated professionals in Ontario, Canada. This field sales role will be working remotely with a home base ideally in Toronto or Ottawa, while reporting and working with the team at HQ in San Francisco. The territory for this role will cover Eastern Canada focusing mostly on the dynamic and expanding Ontario market with occasional account visits to other markets in Eastern Canada.

This is more than a field sales role. As Senior Territory Sales Manager, you will be actively involved in Canada sales initiatives as well as sales strategy and execution plans. The successful candidate will be responsible to build strong rapport and relationships with Brand Partners, drive new points and existing points of sales distribution and visibility for sustainable growth, as well as deepen existing business relationships by continuing to increase account satisfaction. You will be the company representative for all licensed cannabis retailers within the assigned geographic territory, meeting company as well as individual sales specific goals. The Senior Territory Sales Manager will train cannabis retailers in product knowledge and execution of PAX Labs sales and merchandising standards, as well as evaluate customer needs, understand market drivers and forces and work with internal partners to ensure appropriate service/product delivery and pricing.

As the ideal candidate, you possess a minimum of 5+ years outside sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry. Cannabis experience is not required however will be preferred. Comfort speaking to and in cannabis retail stores, cannabis trade shows and other cannabis events is essential. As a dynamic and innovative individual with a creative way of thinking, you are always striving to take ownership and exceed expectations. With exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, you possess strong business acumen and are highly analytical by nature. Superior ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines will be key to success in this role. You are a true team player willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done. Willingness to travel with access to a reliable vehicle, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, is required.
