Team Leader, Group Insurance Implementation

Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with our client, a leading health and wellness partner for individuals, to recruit a Team Leader, Implementation.

Role Description:

Our client is looking for a Team Leader to lead the implementation of new clients by delivering a smooth, consistent and highly dependable client installation process, resulting in a positive first-impression with new clients. In this role you will lead a team of diverse skilled employees to achieve corporate and operational targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day to day needs of the team and clients
  • Provide coaching to individuals on performance goals and quality results
  • Support the career development and learning opportunities of team members
  • Ensure key performance indicators of productivity and accuracy are achieved
  • Identify processes to maximize overall efficiency of the department and drive
  • Work collaboratively with the support services teams (i.e training/quality/metrics) to achieve corporate and operational targets
  • Represent the team at meetings where appropriate and build/maintain relationships within department as well as other business units within the company
  • Hold regular team meetings
  • Remote team management
  • Responsible for hiring process of new employees
  • Occasionally participate in finalist presentations with prospective clients when required

Your Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in business or marketing; project management.
  • Three to five years of leadership in sales or operations management experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong coaching, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Prior experience working with MS Project is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
